What is PV & RE engineering?

Photovoltaic Engineering focuses on the manufacture and use of photovoltaic cells, or solar cells, to create electricity from sunlight and use that energy to power virtually any electrical load.

Renewable Energy Engineering is concerned with the creation of energy by non-traditional methods such as solar cell technology, biomass, wind energy, tidal power generation and sustainable use of conventional electricity. It also covers solar architecture and energy efficient housing design.
